Comply with ASTM standards and keep your stairways safe with or without light by using our "Glow-in-the-Dark" anti-skid tape cost effective and easy to install, our "Glow-in-the-Dark" Anti-Skid Tape will help guide the way during a power outage. Made from B-916 grit-coated polyester tape which is non-toxic and non-radioactive. Tape and cleats comply with ASTM E-2072 and ASTM E-2073 standard specifications for photoluminescent safety markings and standard test methods for luminance of photoluminescent markings. Standard roll length: 60'. Brady B-918 is an indoor anti-skid, photoluminescent tape with a permanent pressure sensitive adhesive. Illuminescent Characteristics: Illumination: 21.6 lux (2 foot-candles) for 2 hrs with a 4100K cool white fluorescent lamp Luminance (after illumination): 10 minutes > 29 mcd/m2, 60 minutes > 7 mcd/m2, 90 minutes > 5 mcd/m2, 120 minutes > 3 mcd/m2. Adhesive type: permanent pressure sensitive acrylic. Substrate type: grit coated polyester tape. Thickness (PSTC-33): total: 0.020 in. (0.508 mm). Adhesive Properties: adhesion to steel (PSTC-1), 15 Minute Dwell (average) 110 oz/in (119 N/ 100mm), Ultimate Dwell (72 hours) (average) - 104 oz/in (113 N/ 100mm), Tack (ASTM D 2979) (average) 1400 g (13.7 N). Abrasion Resistance (Method 5306 of U.S. Federal Test Method Std. No. 191A): H-22 wheels, 1000 g weight. Withstood up to 60 cycles. Minimum application temperature: 50 degree F (10 degree C). Average Outdoor Durability: Not recommended for outdoor use.
