- ADXL345 is an extremely low-power, high-resolution (13-bit) 3-axis accelerometer, measuring at up to 16g. The digital output data is in 16-bit two's complement format and can be accessed via the digital I2C interface or SPI (3-wire or 4-wire).
- The ADXL345 is perfect for mobile device applications. It measures static acceleration due to gravity in tilt detection applications as well as dynamic acceleration due to motion or shock. Its high resolution (4 mg / LSB) allows the measurement of tilt angle changes of less than 1.0.
- The low power mode supports motion-based intelligent power management for threshold detection and motion acceleration measurement at very low Power consumption.
- Extremely low power consumption: only 23A in measurement mode and 0.1A in standby mode at VS = 2.5V (typical).
