These dissolvable day of the week labels are food rotation labels that literally dissolve when you place them in the dishwasher or rub them by hand under running water. This label helps tremendously in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant. There is no need to peel old labels to apply a new one. With these labels, you will not have any leftover residue. Plastic and metal bins will have no damage done whatsoever. These food rotation stickers are made of cornstarch, water-based inks for print, and you can write on them using a pen, pencil, or permanent marker. The inks will come off when the label dissolves. These dissolvable day of the week labels measure 2 x 3 inches in a rectangular shape. They have rounded corners so that you can easily peel from the roll and apply by hand. They are simple to put on and remove. There are 100 of these dissolvable labels on each roll. We do, however, add about ten extra to make up for the little white sticker we use to hold the roll together. These labels use a strong adhesive that will adhere very well to most flat surfaces. We do not recommend placing them on bins or containers that might be prone to nearby splashes of water (i.e., near a sink). You can use them in the freezer. However, we suggest placing these on the container before freezing. Each day of the week is color-coded on these dissolvable stickers, which helps kitchen staff to see the expiration day. The other text on these labels says "Item," "Prep Date," "Use By," and "Shelf Life" (which are all in English and Spanish). The "Use By" line is highlighted in yellow as this is the key line on the label. There is also an area for employees to write their initials, which keeps the staff accountable.
