Remove the electrodes from their storage bag. 2. Make sure the perfect mamaTENS is turned off, electrodes still on the plastic liner, plug the two cables into the device. 3. Determine where to place the electrode pads. This is either stated in the instructions for use. 4. When the electrodes are to be applied, wash the skin and dry it carefully. Make sure the skin is free of oil based creams\/lotions as this can destroy the self-adhesive gel. 5. Place the center of the electrode on the skin and then smooth and around the electrode edges. Hold the protective films so that they cannot be damaged. 6. During use, ensure that the cables on all four electrodes remain slack and that none are energized. Otherwise, pad failure may occur. REMOVAL OF PADS 1. After use, make sure the perfect mamaTENS is turned off before removing the pads from the skin. 2. Remove the electrodes by peeling from the edge. DO NOT pull on the connection cable. 3. In between, replace the electrodes on their protective films and place them back in the storage bag and seal. IMPORTANT Pads are only suitable for individual patients. Do not apply pads to broken skin or skin without normal sensation. CAUTION If skin irritation develops, discontinue use and consult a doctor, midwife or physician.
